Class 1 Skin has potential to blemish with areas of congestion (blackheads, pustules) and can appear inflamed in localised areas. Class 3 Active blemishes, blackheads, many pustules, nodules, cysts and even abscesses. Cheeks are most often affected as well as neck, chest and back. Scarring exists and is generally severe. Class 4 Hormonal Acne - This is females only and found around the lower face, i.e. chin jaw and neck and is usually not oily, usually stimulated by high androgen levels some lesions may be pustuled and nodular and very tender.
